The World’s Best Smartphones of 2020 So Far

We’ve already a few months into a new decade, and we’ve seen some of the best mobile hardware of all time, including a launch of the latest Samsung flagships following the release of their foldable phones. As the year continues to grow, we can expect to see new and improved phones slowly trickling into the market, but at the moment, these are the very best smartphones that money can buy.

  1. The iPhone 11 Max Pro

Apple has been hard at work improving their flagship, and the 11 Max Pro is their latest offering: a powerful phone that boasts an extremely impressive camera and matching specs. It’s considered a top tier choice for anyone that likes to take pictures, improved by the long battery times and quick processing speeds thanks to its A13 Bionic chip. With a 6.5 inch OLED screen, a triple camera system at the back, and iOS, the 11 Max Pro is a solid choice for a new phone, and might be enough to even sway some Android fans.

  1. Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus

Although the S20 Ultra has the best features in the Samsung line-up at the moment, it’s also exorbitantly expensive, making the Plus a much better combination of money and specs. The S20 Plus sports the new Snapdragon 865, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 64 megapixel telephoto camera that offers some of the best picture taking of any Samsung phone yet. It also comes with a 120Hz screen refresh rate – the recommended refresh for online slots Singapore –  and while it certainly makes the screen feel clean and snappy, it does put a noticeable toll on the battery life.

  1. Google Pixel 3a

The Google Pixel has been out for some time now, but it remains a brilliant choice for anyone needing a cheaper but extremely competent smartphone. It’s a phone that’s still considered better than the Pixel 4, mostly thanks to the way it makes use of its Android, on top of its class-defining camera that can compete evenly with most modern flagships. In terms of specs, the 3a consists of a Snapdragon 670, 4Gb of RAM, and an excellent 12MP camera on the back.

  1. Oneplus 7T

Oneplus have made a name for themselves in the market for their cheaper phones that are easily able to match even the best that Samsung has to offer. The 7T is their best offering yet: a powerful and easy to use device that’s capable of matching the performance of the 11 Max Pro or S20. This comes thanks to its Snapdragon 855+, along with its 8GB of RAM and 6.55 inch AMOLED screen.

  1. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

Undoubtedly the world’s most powerful phone at the moment, the S20 Ultra is the true definition of flagship. With up to 16GB RAM and Snapdragon 865, the Ultra matches even modern desktop computers in both specs and performance. On top of that, it boasts a huge 6.9 inch screen, along with 108, 48, and 12MP cameras. The Ultra is also among the world’s most expensive mobile devices, with a price tag that only a small handful of people are able to financially justify.
